Sway bar link removal

my 2010 Tacoma sway bar link needs to come off for a replacement. The Allen bolt that goes into the spindle is so damn rusted that it won't budge. I have let it soak over night in GM penetrating oil (didn't have any yota penetrating oil ) also applied insane amounts of heat to it and shocked the spindle with a 5 pound sledge many times. The Allen bolt still won't budge, in fact I snapped my Allen key doing so.

Any other ideas on removing it would be great, if not I will spend the next hour drilling through it

 

Blow Torch works on everything

 

drill away good sir, or hack saw angle grinder it off if you are replacing it.

 

Let me rephrase myself. When I applied insane amounts of heat to the spindle, it wasn't with a match! It was in fact with a torch that produces a blue flame of fire.

 

The link is getting replaced, so destroying it is no big deal. Bit drilling through the Allen bolt is what I want to avoid

 

dumb question but do you have any bolt extractors? give it a good twist to break it or you can always try tightening to break the rust seal.

 

My father may have some, I will try tightening it and see

What nut? There isn't one at the spindle. I have an aftermarket spindle from pro comp that accommodates my 6in lift;

 

ooohhhhhhhh, I see. thought it was a stock sway bar link?

got a welder? I'm a fan of just welding a piece of small bar stock, or even a another long bolt actoss the head of the stripped one, creating a "t-handle" on the bolt. typically, you can then either turn it out by hand, or smack the end of whatever you just welded on, to break it loose. i'll do whatever I can to avoid drilling out a bolt.
