I have been looking at mine. Can you take it off with out removing the front skid? And how hard is it to take off? Is it an option to take off before the trail head?

See my build thread in my signature
I run no sway but to get a feel you could just remove the endlinks and secure it and drive it around to test it out.

... I bought the 'helwig' sway bar to put on my 2wd reg cab. Truck never see's the dirt, strictly a road warrior.

...don't have one on my 2010 Wrangler though.

If you do, I would remove the skid plate. Cause the bolts are directly above them. The skid plate it four (4)12mm bolts then the sway bar is open and easily accessible. The its four (4) 14mm bolts I believe for the bar and two (2) 14mm for the end links.

I took mine off because it would slam my passenger side OME coilover if I hit a bump while turning right. At first I noticed a slight difference w/ the handling of the truck, but not enough to make me worry and now I don't even think about it. Like others have said, if you have an upgraded suspension, you should be fine and probably won't notice much of a difference. Easy enough to put back on if you don't like it.
