I was a newb when I bought my 1st gen Taco back in the day and I remember thinking how cool the aluminum spacer looked. Now when I see them on other trucks it makes me cringe

Modded it so much it turned into a 4Runner
OP, take the sway bar off and put it in storage. If you're taking your truck off road the sway bar inhibits articulation.

I have a pretty tight s turn on my way home that I've grown very accustomed to. In the 01 and factory 17 I hit it at 45 without breaking the lines (not apex to apex) on the 17 sans sway bar, I hit it at 45, don't break the lines, feel some (but not much) body roll. You just have to know it's not there. I off-road more than I drive on the interstate. If and when I drive in the interstate, I'll be mindful that it's not there. Plus there are a handful of other nanny systems in here that retard wheel spin based on speed and yaw so if I swerve to hit a deer Tom sweers will save me.

I'm assuming all the relocation brackets are similar. The brackets relocate your sway bar forward and down. Keep that in mind when installing the brackets. Here's a link to Fox shocks install guide including relocation bracket.

    https://www.ridefox.com/dl/truck/manuals/605-01-063-co-toyota-web.pdf

Best way that I found was to jack up front end, remove front wheels, disconnect left and right sway bar end links, remove sway bar brackets, install relocation brackets, attach sway bar to relocation brackets, install left and right end links, torque everything, install wheels, lower vehicle. jack stands and chocks are your friend.

I found out the resi mount for my king suspension will achieve the same result, so no need for the relocation blocks.

There is no way they will replace that under warranty. Taking them off and going back without a crushed bump stop will also not fly

As others have said, like a condom, safer with it on, but it feels so much better with it off!!! Seriously, a little more body roll in corners, but softer, more compliant. I have found that I notice each front hitting bumps a little more independent if that makes sense. I like it a lot!!! planning to leave off. Just try it without, and if you dont like it, can put it right back on.
