You can do spacers you just have to do the bump stops also. Ride is compromised, but it can be done and be done safely. Just do your research!

I'm just going to take this opportunity to reply again. It's like taking the handcuffs off your front end. What each wheel feels does not affect the other, resulting in your independent suspension cycling independently. I was apprehensive at first because this version of the Tacoma is bigger than the gen 1, but it handles predictably. Just know stepping into it that it's going to handle different than when it was on there, and adapt to it. In other words, it's awesome. Like getting into a bar fight with isis. And you're outnumbered, and all of a sudden Jesus steps in landing some of the sickest roundhouses you've ever seen. You guys fight back to back droppin elbows like you get paid per fucking elbow. Then, after all that, you dust yourself off and phoebe cates wants to fuck when she gets out of the pool. Because you're a hero. Don't EVER do what I say. But. Consider placing that thing under your workbench in the garage and if your old lady asks what it is and why it isn't on your truck anymore tell her you think you read Ellen died. When she comes back downstairs saying that you made it all up to get her away from your garage and that she thinks that toyota engineers put that thing on there for a reason remind her that the founding fathers

That lists various types of lift kits for sale...I'm requesting someone show pics of trucks that experienced wheelers would be able to tell are just spacer lifts vs another type of lift.

Spacers are just metal hockey pucks on top of your coilovers.

Again, I'm referring to how people were saying they can visually tell if a truck uses a spacers lift vs a better lift. Can someone post pics of trucks that show how that is visible?

See the big brushed aluminum disc/puck that is at the top of the OP's first picture? That is a spacer and is not there stock or with any "real" lift.

Ahh I see, so it's just pushing the body up higher away from the wheel using the same suspension already installed. Thanks for clarifying.
