The guy that runs Wabfab is a crook so don't even bother with end links or anything from him in general. You can make your own with parts from McMaster Carr if you really wanted them.

Good call. I was sway bar-less on my third gen 4Runner with a lunchbox locker in the back and it wasn't bad at all except in parking lots when the locker didn't unlock. Then it would body roll quite a bit.

Hub, I can't believe wab fab is still in business. After he was banned from YotaTech I just figured his business was done for.

I asked earlier about the benefit of taking the sway bar off of my 04 Tacoma DCSB 4x4 but nobody has answered me. Will it put your suspension at full droop and allow for more travel? I only off road a little bit nothing major. Wouldn't taking the sway bar off benefit rock crawling and desert running better? Not just the occasional off roader? I drive on the highway about 200 miles a week. My buddy told me unless I off road a lot to just leave the sway bar alone. My set up is Adjustable 5100's up front on the 0 setting w/ 3" Eibach coils and Camburg UCA's and a 1.5" AAL w/ normal 5100's in the rear.

Sound advice. Removing the sway bar won't magically transform your rig into a solid-front-axle-articulation-monster. IFS articulates A LITTLE better without it.

Conversely, it's a safety feature. You'll probably never need it. But there's that one-in-a-hundred chance that someday you'll have to avoid something and the sway bar will help you keep the truck tires-down-paint-up.

    Here's how I frame it:

"Is it a daily driver that sometimes goes on tough trails?" - leave it on.

"Is it a trail and offroading rig that you sometimes drive on the street?" - go ahead and take it off.

    Ok
Ok thanks for the advice! My buddy is a buddy then! LOL. For telling me to leave it on.

No sway bar rides better overall actually. Hitting a bump on just one side will have less of a jolt aswell

But if you don't off road except occasionally like me then there is no point to take the sway bar off correct?

"NO point" overstates the case. Tell me exactly what you're gonna do and I'll tell you the optimal configuration. :D Somewhere, there's a certain pothole that you'll hit on the paved road more comfortably with the swaybar off. But see, every configuration is a compromise. The goal is to get the best compromise for expected usage. For mostly on road usage, the best overall compromise is to leave it on.

if anyone is still running a sway bar with a 3" lift i highly recommend something along the lines of this: much better than trying to space the sway bar down..

I just went to napa and looked through a few parts and found a sway bar link like the taco's with a longer shaft. the ttora link provides a part number which is helpful.

only thing to be careful with is your brake lines as the post mentions, when i did the upgrade i didn't have any issues with the link contacting the brake line. Although i have since removed the sway bar all together ...if you want it, awesome and easy upgrade.
