Could be. Then I would just leave it on all the time. Or temporarily remove if I wanted to wheel.

Let’s recap. I use my truck with front/rear swaybars as a truck, my vintage V8 sports car with swaybar as a sports car and my crawler w/o a swaybar for rock crawling. YOLO!:bananadance:

I've been wanting to remove my sway bar for a while now. I'm just extremely lazy.

I took off my sway bar earlier today. So far I’m in the testing phase to see how I like it. So far, so good. I have Fox 2.5 adjustable DSC coilovers. I’m testing in regards to a smoother ride, not articulation. It seems to ride smoother over bumps and rough roads so far. I would like to keep them off if it works out. The only concern I have is loosing too much stability. Maybe the Fox 2.5s help with that but it feels pretty stable so far.

Removing mine was honestly one of my favorite mods, but I always run my Kings on full stiff dampening so body roll is almost non existent. Not sure I'd do it on a close to stock truck.

If you remove it, keep your speed down on corners lest it rise up and bite you.
I've been driving my '94 Wrangler with swaybars removed since new. Big improvement in articulation off road.
We just take it easy, stay under 50 on roads and slower on twisties.

Ive had mine off for about 3 weeks. They will not be going back on.
I can barely tell a difference in higher speed cornering. I can tell that the truck tilts a little more on those turns but it’s nothing that feels uncomfortable. I have 3 younger kids that ride with me sometimes and it feels plenty stable to where it feels safe.

The overall highway feel is better on uneven roads and pot holes also. It seems to take bumps a little smoother.

I have Fox 2.5 adjustables and it has been all the way on the softer settings the whole time. I haven’t even felt the need to stiffen them up. My shocks and coilovers were custom tuned by AccuTune Offroad, that prob has something to do with them being stable at the softest settings.

I have 700# springs and I'm pretty sure my relocated sway bar is binding. Something is making a clunk noise on quick turns. I know it could be many things but everything else looks good. With such stiff springs I should probably be ok, right? I do wheel a lot but I also use my truck as a daily.

Yes. Mine are 600# and they are stiff enough.

Would I even notice the lack of sway bar if I’m running a 3g Tacoma OR 4x4 front suspension(spring rate of 717lb)on my 2nd gen? Cheers!

I don't think the ORs are 700lb springs. I believe that is the Sport. 650lb/in for the OR?

On my Sport, I do notice it, but don't mind it. Hate body roll in cars, but the Taco is just fine. Cornering to the limit of the tires is NBD. There is so little up travel that the bump stop does most of the heavy lifting.

Depends on how you drive. Everyone drives differently, and has a different meter on what feels right. The only way to know is to try it.

On a different note, revisiting this thread gave me the feels.
