    there's been a good deal of discussion about this. simple answer to my knowlege is no....but soem people have been working on custom making one...i saw a pitcure of one that used wingnuts, but i don't know if i'd trust that. my worry is that, even if you disconnected it, where is a good sade way to stow it

    right, but you can't just let it dangle...i know the jeep ones (manual disconects) unclip and then reclip to the frame so it doesn't bounce around. you would have to find a way to secure it once it was disconnected, in a way that would not interfere with the articulation of the suspension

    so far no luck for us...but i have to say, unless towing becomes a problem, i more than likely will never want to have it back...i'd probably just leave it disconnected all of the time.

Sway Bar removal. Charcoal filter delete. Stant 11509 Locking Gas Cap.
    I took mine off yesterday while adding a 1/4" top plate spacer to the drivers to get the Taco lean fixed. I don't notice any problems with cornering yet, This is a truck. You don't go 60-70MPH around a curve unless your really stupid. I agree with the front suspension soaking up the bumps better, it used to be stiff as a rock with the sway bar on. I'm keeping it off and not looking back!

    Yeah man, I was going to post one up on my own. I'm glad somebody else chimed in on this idea. If your doing mostly street keep it on, but a off roader will know no sway equals more play!

    I planning on making a hard point to say that if you don't off road, keep it on...but as i did more street driving with it, i started to love the way it felt even on tarmac. may not corner like a sports car...but it corners damn good for a lifted truck, it just feels like a good rig should

    Like I said in an earlier post, I removed mine a few days ago. It was very fast. I spent as much time fiddling with the skid plate as I did removing the bar itself. Probably 30 minutes.

    After reading these posts, I couldn't wait any longer. Tonight I went down the street to an abandoned used car dealership that has those asphalt hills they display cars on. My "flexing testing grounds". Yep, sure as shit, it flexes more!:)

    Brunes, where are you? Chime in already. He convinced me to take mine off. He's had his off for quite some time.

    Oh, and yes, I have pneumatic tools. :)

    I wish I had some before and after measurements. It's definitely more now sans sway bar.

    I live in Farmington, NM. Google Chokecherry Canyon. It's insane! It's right here in town (among many other amazing spots). Some people call it Mini Moab. It just had a segment done on it a couple of weeks ago on Xtreme 4x4.

    Flex is GOOD!!!!!!!!!

    Yes, I am fortunate. We have everything from stuff only custom rock crawlers should touch, to high speed desert runs, to lazy scenic routes all within 10 minutes of my house.:p Seriously, Google us. There are some exciting youtube videos. An hour and a half up the road is the famous passes between Silverton and Telluride (Black Bear Pass, etc.) and the Alpine Loop. Two and a half hours from here is the real deal, Moab!

    While I hate mud, I know a lot of people love it. I bet you have a ton of it in Florida.:thumbsup:
