yeah, it can be a bitch to snake out of the front bumper braces. try taking the links with the ball joints completely off if you haven't already. you can also turn the wheels side to side to get more room where needed. also, i don't knwo if it will make it better or worse, but you coulk jack it up to drop the suspension. and if all else fails, you can unbolt the two braces braces right behind the skid plate

Wound up removing mine with the 5100 install to try it out for a bit, and now I'm trying to sell it lol.

There is a small adjustment period, but it really isn't that big a difference and the performance gains are big for a free mod.

Bringing a dead thread to life... Any updates on how it drives? I'm considering doing it to mine. Right now I have stock suspension with a ready lift 3" lift. But I have an ARB up front, so its weighed down.... Looking at OME 886 and Dakars sooner than later, but I'm considering trying this for a few months if you guys are still liking it.

    Hi Bryan,

It's been quite a while since I started this thread, and my truck has changed a lot. I still am going without the swaybar, but my situation has chaged dramatically. since this review was written, my suspension has completely changed and i have added a lot more weight to the truck. Everything done to the truck now is with offroading in mind, however, i do still use it as a daily driver. with the changes i've made, i get a lot of body roll, but by knowing how my truck reacts to various imputs, i can safely manage any roll and dangerous situations. part of the reason for this is that even though i have a heavey truck, i only have about an inch of lift, so my COG has stayed relatively low.

Your ready lift will have you sidtting higher, raising the COG, however, readylifts tend to be a fair amount stiffer, so you may not see too much roll. with how quick and easy it is to remove the swaybar, i'd say give it a shot, and if it's not your thing, just toss it back on. I will say though, if you don't offroad on a fairly regular basis, it's not going to be worth it.

here's a picture i took yesterday that shows the true benefit of no swaybar:
