Do most of you remove the sway bar out of your third gen Tacoma? Is there any pro/cons to removing it or keeping it ?

Of course there are pros/cons. Remove sway, no sway protection. Keep sway, keep weight and limited articulation.

In my swaybarless 2nd gen, I limited loss of sway with beefier OME coils. That compromises ride a bit but I accept the tradeoff and am satisfied with my setup.

I'm curious... Subscribing for answers. I guess from an offroad use stand point one might not want it to interfere with keeping each wheel planted, but on road, they have to add stability.

It's all preference. What I tell everyone is to remove it and drive around for a few days without it, see if you like it or not. If not, put it back on.

If you do more pavement than off roading, keep it. Its not hard to remove it at the trailhead anyway

I recently just removed my front sway bar from my 4Runner after lifting it again. I was unsure about it but it’s been fine. It has more body role but if you don’t drive it like a race car it’s not a big deal. My shocks are 2.5s with high speed and low speed adjusters on the reservoirs. Off road it’s a way nicer ride in conjunction with the 2.5s.
