Got to learn how to use my chain saw almost in my backyard. My 1 neighbor whom I actually like had part of tree break and land in her yard.

I offered to take it all away, and she liked that idea :cookiemonster:

An extra air filter may be worth it too. I’ll be bringing one just in case lol. Just a gently used one I prematurely changed.

Also as long as everyone has the track loaded to gps and there is an agreed upon meeting location or two setup and/or decent range on the comms, just simply spreading out a bit will really help in the dusty sections. That will give a lot of the dust time to blow away and settle before the next guy gets to it

You know those are oil treated right?
I looked at them at one point too and it was because of the oil I chose not to get them.
And one of the reasons I got the pre cleaner was because of winter here ram head isn't always good, and I'm paranoid of crack head cunts in downtown toronto throwing shit in there cause they're fucked.
I just got a new one today, my current one really isn't that bad but i figure change it and then I'll carry the old one as a spare for emergencies.

Would also be good for sight. With all the dust you might not see the car ahead and say something happened like a rut in the road or something you might not have space to react.
Definitely much better to keep a decent distance.

Yeah i figured out something else to use, a little redneck but better than nothing.
Bought a uni air filter sheet, also duct tape. Will work for swisha, doesnt have to be pretty aslong as it works. Plus the truck aint that pretty so not hurting it much.
Worst case ill be throwing the day old socks on there each morning

I’ll pass along the notes or anything. It’s more just to go over the plan to ensure everyone is on the same page.

Yeah going this Saturday. Just need to wire up the locker switches.

Not rays place. The hydro line trail which like ardbeg. It’s on of4wd. Just a there and back trail, not too many offshoots like ardbeg.

Alright everyone. I have added some of the things that were spoken about at the "meeting" today. If you check the google document I have added maps. Day one is pretty much set in stone in terms of where we are camping and the overall general meeting places. However, day 2-5 are very flexible and will be dependent on time, fuel, and what ever other things come up.

For instances day 2 is 350-400 km of driving from camp to camp, however that day we are going through the washout (which apparently there is a bypass for) so it may be a unrealistic distance for a single day.

Take a look, understand they are flexible and just general ideas in terms of managing time. Also, the maps I have are from Gravel travel, so I am taking them for what they are. This is my only understanding of the trail. Meaning I only no this trail from the maps that I am sharing via the document. Ill quote the gpx file that someone had shared earlier so you can take a look and think about possible kilometres per day.
