Nope I was taking the picture, that is my mechanic who installed my lift. He is an old friend from high school and the only guy I trust with my truck. He made exactly what I wanted.

I'm trying to decide if I meet you guys in Ottawa or on the port hope on route. I have a friend with a very good coffee shop in Ottawa that I wouldn't mind stopping at for a little while.

 

Are you leaving Saturday morning? Or going up that way friday?

 

I'd be heading out there Saturday morning. I could meet up with you guys in the morning and just drive my usual 120km/h and meet up with you guys again at the last checkpoint before the trail. My buddy has a really good coffee shop I'd like to stop off at. Last chance to get real espresso.

This is actually a real question that we should answer. As it is a problem. If you fired one of those off ANYWHERE up here, it would instantly start a fire. Even with the full day of light rain we had today, it is bone dry here still.

Flares are for life or death rescue. Bear bangs are a noise maker that us shot up in the air. I also have bear spray. I'd rather take the chance and not get mauled....personal preference of course.
