Here is my plan. Please like if you agree, comment if you see something I don’t that would make it better or if my plan just sucks.

( My aux fuse box has a 100amp circuit breaker between it and the battery, I just didnt place it in my gorgeous drawing )

My add a circuits definitely need help, currently switch pro is tapped into 7.5 amp tail for illumination with dash and is tapped into 7.5 ECU.ig no2 for power

Can I just run 2 wires into the add a fuse on the circuits I have since it’s just dash illumination and firing a relay?

    Wire 1 - 18awg wire with a 3amp fuse,
not sure where to tap this with an add a fuse as what I would normally do is being used for the switch pro

Wire 2 - 18 awg wire because of how low the amp draw on the relay is

Wire 3 - 18 awg wire with 3 amp fuse
not sure where to tap this with an add a fuse as what I would normally do is being used for the switch pro

Wire 4 - 18 awg wire with a ground in the footwell

Wire 5 - 12 gauge awg With a 10 amp ( arb says 8amp minimum ) fuse in aux fuse box ( about an 8ft run from switch to fuse box )

Wire Blue - 10 gauge awg ( locker solenoid will be in the bed of the truck so for shits and giggles I’m saying a 20 ft run )

I think one thing I am missing with this set up is the preventative measure ARB has built in to not flip a locker if the compressor isn’t running. So if you know how to do that with a compressor on a switch pro and the locker on a separate switch let me know.

You might get more help in the Third Gen Section

I deal with things like this all to often.

I gotta say I have no idea what your trying to do

I might be tired after a long day

State your goals What you need to do.

Can I add a wire into my add a fuse used for the illumination for my switch pro so that I can also run a ch4x4 switch off the same add a fuse? ( add a fuse in the tail light fuse under the dash )(red wire #3 on the ch4x4)

Can I add a wire into my add a fuse used for the relay power of the switch pro to power the ch4x4 switch? ( add a fuse in the ignition#2 under the dash, green wire #1 on the ch4x4)

am I okay running a 16 gauge wire from ch4x4 #2 to the relay? From my understanding flipping the relay is only milliamps and doesn’t require heavy power

Am I okay running 12 gauge awg With a 10 amp ( arb says 8amp minimum ) fuse in aux fuse box ( about an 8ft run from switch to fuse box ) from relay 30 pin to my aux fuse box?

Am I okay running 10 awg wire from relay pin 87 to the locker solenoid switch? ARB says it only needs 10 amp fuse in it so following the wire gauge guide for a run of 20ft it says 10gauge is fine.

basically what I am trying to do is run a ch4x4 front locker switch to run my front locker, I have a switch pro that powers the compressor but don’t have a spot for the locker switch and I would like to keep my locker switches next to each other on the overhead console

added a ch4x4 wiring diagram and the wire gauge diagram I am using

Haven't gotten a response here so spoke to someone at SDHQ about the running a line into the current add a fuse, they said its a no go.
So that takes care of my first 2 questions.

Talked to ARB regarding wiring the switch up to a relay and the solenoid, dont need a relay as I can use the built in wiring of the compressor. Basically just need to follow the wiring diagram on the ARB.

I'll post up how I wired this as soon as I get it done so if anyone has questions they can come back to this.

    Current Plan will be:

1-green - find a 12v fuse I can tap under dash ( think I will tap one of the cig lighter fuses )
2-red 1- run wire to solenoid ( with fuse 10amp fuse, Ill measure out if I need 10awg or 12awg )
3-red 2- Tap illumination wire off cargo light illumination.
4-black- ground wire ( talked to arb and they said I should connect this 2 to the solenoid, Ill test it because I think I can ground the solenoid and then ground this switch in the cab )
