So I just installed a rocker switch next to my traction control button. A little shaving from the inside and blamo, it fits. Pulled out the switch blanks from just below the air vent and noticed it has some wiring attached to it. Anyone know what these wires are?. Went through my owners manual and couldn't find an answer.

Toyota has ran the wiring for features that may not have been included with the model that you purchased. They likely do this so all trucks can be wired the same rather than having 4-5 different wiring configurations.

I have a sport model so no down hill assist or rear locker but the wires may be ran to my dash for those switches.

Unless you have a 2.7, which has a different harness (to some extent) with less wires.
