I've seen people do that before...problem is, that's your fuse panel access. You cover that up with switches and more wites, you're just screwing yourself in the process lol. I'm gonna use this panel and probably put a switch panel up in the sunglasses holder

Go for it man! I'm hoping to work on a big project that's going to be killer, so I won't have time to develop another panel besides a manual version.

Dude, it's gonna be awesome! Let's just say it's going to be a lot of custom work to be cheap, but I'm working on a prototype. I'll post up some youtube action once it's built.

For what? Ultra gauge/ Scan gauge? go to their website. I bet theres a dimensional drawing there.

If you are referring to the small compartment, remove yours and measure it.

I initially installed some simple toggle switches for a couple of my lights inside that little cubby. If you installed switches externally (which at most would hold 2) it might look ghetto as the angle of the cubby door is fairly prominent. But hey...who am I to dictate what you put on there...:D

Yea, but I'm always in and out of there checking fuses or running wire, I'd hate to have to disconnect stuff every time

The switch backs are made for that. One sec, I'll take a pic.

    Ever think of using these?

Weatherproof Metal On/Off Switch with White LED Ring - 16mm White On/Off

There are solutions. Do they always meet the criteria we initially have in mind? No, not really. But there ARE solutions.

Could use a label maker and put a label above or below . Or get some circular stickers, or use the label maker in small fonts. Or a USB label maker and put logo and such on them.

Personally I prefer the BLACK version

There are companies doing them. Might ask OTRATTW if his lasers could engrave them
