    Hi Guys,

First off, thanks so much for supporting me on this! I really hope it helps you all with switches as much as it helped me.

The GB is closed. I am compiling all the orders and I'll be ordering from my suppliers today. Like I said before, I hope to have all the stuff in by the weekend, but I'll know for sure once I talk to the water jet guy later today.

Thanks again and I'll move to get these out ASAP!

I'm not gonna be one of those 'where is my panel' and no one else should be either. These are being hand made and some delays should be expected. Thanks for putting this on iggy.

    Guys,

A quick update. I talked to the water jet guy and he's looking at ordering the material in 3/16 over the 1/8 we originally had.

Before calling him I pulled my panel out to see if there was anything else I could improve before making the final run. I noticed on mine there was a bit of play in the switch holder, which its not noticeable installed but I wanted to see if I could eliminate it.

Here is a crappy pic of what I'm talking about. The back of the switch holder has these tabs to hold against the mounting surface:

So with the 1/8" material the lowest clip still has some distance. The panel will not fall out, but there is a bit of play between the material and the and the last leg. I hope that makes sense.

So I asked to see about making the panels a bit thicker to solve this. 3/16" is the next size up and we can get the panels cut without incurring additional costs, I'm just waiting to confirm this and material lead time.

So how does that sound to everyone? It's an all or nothing thing, so it's either all 3/16 or all 1/8, but I think the 3/16 will fit the holder better.

I may! I want to finish this one first before I commit to another. LOL

If everything goes smoothly there's no reason for me not to. I just have to see how much time goes into packaging and preparing everything.

I like it! Especially if it takes out the play. 3/16 is cool with me.

I don't think I'll run blanks. Just all the same with a few options on accessories. If I run another GB I may have to increase the price a bit, since it's taking so much time, but I will keep everyone posted on how things go!

Another update, I got word back on the panels and we are starting production. I should have them all by Monday because of the Holiday. I went with 3/16" which increased the cost a bit, but because of the rounding I did earlier we are good, I'm really not making anything now! LOL

I'm placing orders for the rest of the items now and we should have everything set for maybe delivery next week. In the mean time I'm printing and double checking each order individually since PayPal's batch feature is not working and they are of no help!

Where is the best place (price, shipping) to order the switches? They sell them at the local 4 wheel parts for $20 bucks + tax lol
