Check my build thread...too much to list.
I've been really interested in this setup and have been hardcore researching for the last month. Now to have a gb on it I think it's fate but I need to consult my better half.

Keep in mind that it's also controllable by an app, so a hidden mount (like sunglasses holder) makes even more sense!

What are the dimensions of the face plate? Just wondering where I could fit it.
Also do the switches come with relays or does it just connect to whatever relay comes with the component?

    The panel is 4”L x 2”W x .5”H (excluding tabs)

As for relays, The 100 amp power module is built with solid-state, automotive components, and uses no mechanical relays or fuses.

    thx.

can you tell if the tabs are set back a bit from the face to allow rear mounting through a panel say?

Yes the mounting tabs are set back a bit. If you watch the above video you can get a better idea for how its mounted. You could even hide the switch panel and use a Tablet or phone to control your lights, etc via bluetooth.

Would be cool if I could figure out a way to mount it in the headliner rear of the map light.

I don't see why you couldn't mount it up there.

I wonder what kind of signal the black wire to the switch plate carries. I might need to make the cable longer in order to follow the windshield and A pillar and through the firewall to the power unit. Is it USB or CAT5 or just plain copper 5V signals?

yeah looks like plain 4 wire copper. i guess all the signal and control is wireless.

this is tempting but i have a huge suspension and bumper project underway. i wasn't planning on dealing with lighting and winches until next spring. we will see :)

Based of the video, Seems instant. Also the whole system is programmable. You can have all the switches run off the battery or only when the ignition is on. As for the Bluetooth, thats going to depend on the device you are connecting to.

I wonder if the backlight color can be changed. I was thinking white would match my other interior lights better but it's not a big deal.
