Switch Pros blocked me when I brought up their Android Bluetooth issues

You gonna buy a 4x4 tacoma and be fine if the 4x4 doesn't work? The rear wheels still work right? The truck still drives fine right? Nothing to complain about at all. Suck it up and pay that extra for a feature that doesnt work right?

 

People on this forum have a hard time understanding this concept. If you bought something with a listed set of features, no matter how posh or trivial they are, the shit needs to work and you have a right to complain if they don't. I read this forum daily and hear the same "oh you poor thing you can't get X to work because of XYZ how about you bitch about it" etc. etc. and those people are ridiculously ignorant to the principal of delivering a product that works as advertised. They have a hypermasculinity complex that makes them think they can tell everyone to rub some dirt in it when a company just shit on you without repercussion.

I could understand if this was a cheap product. But this is equivalent to half of some people's mortgage. For that price. It should work perfectly after set up. And if it doesn't, fine. But the company should work with people and fix it as soon as possible or remove the feature all together and have the price reflect that

I can understand his plight, it's marketed over the other products as being better because it's bluetooth and it can be controlled off of your phone and can monitor battery and temperature in the engine bay. That's one reason I chose to do this model over their earlier model and other brands at the time. It's not wrong to bring that up to the company. Also isn't that one of the benefits of tacomaworld? to spread reviews and information about products you've bought and how to installs? If he was bitching about the company not replacing the item after he wired it wrong or ran it over with his truck or broke it of his own accord that's one thing but bringing up an issue about the app that's basically been abandoned is different. It's a valid point, and judging by their reaction they probably get it alot. That's my two cents

Borderline slandering the company. I'm am an app developer and some things are out of their control when it comes to phone manufacturers decide to throw a security update out before the software vendors have a chance to test/update it. Just chill bra.

Wait what?? How in the hell is this slander? So because something is supposedly not in the companies control. Saying anything negative about them is slander? Wow man, you opened that door so please explain.

The simple solution is this. If they cant get a fully functional BT program to work in the product. Then remove It from the product till you get it functional. I dont know why this is so hard.

 

#1 app doesnt work for user (company doesnt deny this)

#2 they talk shit to him on social media

#3 they block him

How is this complaint slander? A function was advertised that could not actually be delivered. Was it out of the vendor's control to promise a feature that did not actually work?
