Switch to kill trailer lights

    I'm constantly putting my boat in/out of the water. The trailer lights will sometimes blow a bulb if I don't unplug the trailer wiring before backing in. Has anyone installed a switch to kill the power to the trailer connector?

    You have an exposed wire in the trailer harness...or cheap light housings that drown.

    Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
    Replace your trailer lights with LEDs on eBay for about $32 and forget about it. I have never unplugged mine since I replace them.

    5100's and 883 OME Coils TRD Exhaust Deaver 1.5" AAL Rear Differential Breather Extension, 4WD Light, Tailgate Pipe clamp, Fog lights on while High Beams on, Carrier Bearing flip
    Pull the plug for the trailer and the trailer lights are magically off.

    Get some sealed waterproof lights. I had one that leaked but that is the only time I had a problem.

    Had LED lights, eventually they leaked, filled with water and the PC board shorted out. Had the "waterproof" non-LED lights and they leaked too. Chinese crap
