I think there may be one somewhere. But it was too hard to understand.

    It's really quite simple though

    Things to know:
-Toyota put dual filiment sockets in but only used a single filament bulb. So there's an extra hole for a wire.

    Things you'll need:
    -Wire cutters
    -Something to splice wires
-2 strands of 18 gauge 3 foot wire.
    -the switchbacks (I suggest vLED)
    -

1.pull the sockets off and take them off the harness.

    2. The back of the plug has 2 wires going in and an empty port. I used needle nose pliers to pull the out.

3.once you've got those off you take your exposed wire and fold the tip so that you've made a spring like contact. Put the wire in the back of the plug and put that little black piece back in. The black piece holds the wire in place.

    4. I popped off my corner lights and spliced the wires into the power for the corner lights. (Make sure you know which is the power wire first).

    5. Plug the bulb in of course and make sure it works before cleaning up the wiring.

    6. Repeat for other side

If need be, I'll write up a real Tut tomorrow. Let me know

Ok so I am not to savy with electrical stuff so bare with me...from what i understand this mod turns your blinkers to running lights when your headlight are turned on. But switchbacks to blinkers when you flip the blinkers on correct? So the white light of the switchbacks is only on when your headlights are on correct?

Or whatever you wire it too. I have mine wired to my parking lights so they come on with those. Some people wire them to there 12v in the cab so they are on if the truck is on.

To answer your question though, yes. That's what they do.

Ok thanks. You just answered another question I had to with the 12v. I want them to run when I turn my truck on and want the parking lights to run as well when the truck is on. Also wondering if there is way to have switchbacks in the parking lights as well. So essentially the parking lights and blinkers are dtrl that switch to blinkers as well.

Hmm.. There's a way to do anything. I have not seen anything personally though. If you can find switchbacks for that size bulb though, I'm sure you can run the turn signal wire for the switchback down to the blinker so they run together.

Ya guess I'll do some more research. I'll probably just do your setup for now though and gain some more experience with wiring. Then go from there. I am hoping my blinker sockets are the same though. I have a 2002 bumper but my truck is a 99'. This was done by P.O. so I need to take a look.

Hmm... I don't know if they changed that or not. I'm interested to know though, let me know when you find out

Seems simple enough. I may try this also. Thanks.
