Switchbacks with Drl's

I just installed switchbacks in my 2015 TRD. I cut the green wire with the red running through it and when I turn my light switch to drl nothing happens, is this normal? I would like to be able to turn the white switchback light on when I turn my switch to drl, is that even possible?

 

Couple questions:
Are they Jumpers?
You have a DRL switch? (Thought they were on all the time.) If so, did you install it?
Do you mean that you switch the parking lights to "on"?

 

I have a separated drl spot on my light switch. My Drl's do not come on unless it's on that position. They are jumpers and I did his mod and now the Drl's come on when I start the truck. I would like to be able to turn them on and off with that switch but come on as white and not yellow

 

Hmmm....ok.
I have the same switchbacks in mine that I have control of too. I added a switch so I could shut them on/off but it was from the lines that ran off the DRL module. Does that make sense?
Jumper did have to give me a little walk through when I was ready to put the switchbacks in.

 

Do they stay on as yellow?

 

I will contact Chris to see if I can add a switch to turn them off. They did not come on at all in the first 2 settings on the switch

Are you talking about the light stalk that is on the left side of the steering wheel. Is that where you are trying to control the lights from?

Yes sir that's what i'm talking about. I have read on here that by just cutting the green wire with the red stripe that when you turn to drl the switchbacks would light up white. I did that and nothing happens

I did not know that was possible. Please excuse my ignorance.
I had thought that DRLs were always on unless the headlights were switched on.
