Switching from KC Daylighters To Avec Bar and Pods

    So, as you can see, I put these Daylighters on last year.

    My plan is to keep the wiring harness in place for these, but use the wires from one for an Avec 30" CREE on the light bar the Daylighters are bolted to. The wires from the second Daylighter I plan to use to power two pods on ditch brackets.

    Anyone who knows lighting see a problem with this?

    I'm also going to put an Avec 20" bar on my headache rack while I'm at it.

    I'll throw up some pics once it's all finished.

    As long as your new wattage doesn't exceed you old wattage you should be OK. If your new setup is going to draw more current (not likely as described) you might need bigger fuses or even heavier gauge wire.

    Pulling one pair of wire wire back from the bumper to the hood hinges probably is the smaller headache.

    Separate switch and fuse for headache rack LED?

    Hey thanks, but I've changed my plans. I'm ordering two 30" double CREE combos with two harnesses.

    I'm just going to redo it all.
