Hello Tacomaworld, I’ve been surfing this site for years and have found tons of useful info from all of you.

I’m hoping one of you may have experienced this switch and can tell me what your experience was like?

A few months back I picked up a cheap 2” single aal to complete my lift. After the install of the aal I have a slight vibration between 40-60mph. I’m over the bumpy ride I’ve experienced with the single aal and am looking to go with a progressive aal.

I have measured my driveline angles and determined a 3 degree shim should resolve my vibration. Here’s my question, If I swap out the 2” single aal and replace it with the HS 3-leaf aal leaving in the override. I should keep the same ride height, should I install the 3 degree shims? Or will there be a change in the driveline angles with the different leaf pack?

Bilstein 8112/8100, JBA UCAs, Icon RXT leaf pack, work wheels 17x8.5;-10os, 285/75/17 cooper LTX AT3, Mobtown HC rear bumper and Sliders, SSO front bumper, BAMF greceased grill.
At this point switch to a full leaf pack. Icon RXT has 1-3 options to choose from for what ever lift you choose.

Coming from a 3leaf aal with the overload out to the icon pack was a world of difference in the ride and holding gear weight in the bed. I have no shims on my 3” lift on option 3. No vibes for me, but I’m a 3rd gen.

    Good luck.
