Hey everybody! My stepdad is selling his 2005 ram 1500, and offered to give me his wheels and just put the old stock set back on his truck. My question for you guys is will the five lug bolt pattern of a 2005 ram 1500 fit onto my 2015 Tacoma. I understand I may need a lift kit but I want to make sure that the wheels will fit before I buy a lift kit. Thank you in advance!

bolt pattern is the same 5x4.5, but you will need to double check the offset/backspacing to make sure the wheel will clear. I'm kind of fuzzy on those topics, some of the other guys on here are the wheel gurus

Unless you know somebody has done it already the only way to know is to test fit before you buy.
Even with the same bolt pattern and offset there can be problems.
The shape of the inside of the wheels may not clear the calipers or the lug nuts may be too short for the thickness of the wheels. This happened to me when I tried to put on some Jeep wheels. They worked except the lugs were too short with not enough thread engaged to safely hold the wheels.
