Switching Oils

    I am switching from mobil 1 fully synthetic 5w-30 truck specified oil to just plain fully synthetic mobil 1 5w-30 oil due to difficulty for me to locate the truck specified oil. My question is, is this a bad idea or what do you all think?

    I don't think you will have a problem. A lot of people on here have run regular Mobil 1 5W-30...they even recommend using it in trucks on their website.
