I had been using Goodyear’s tires since my first car. However, I decided to change my tire preference to a Canadian brand called GZ6RUBBER due to very high pricing and relatively short service life. Compare to Goodyear’s tires, I feel gz6 tires are more silent and better grip to the ground. Price tag is also a winning point for me. Let’s see how long they can serve me.

    Cheap Chinese stuff.

From a trading company (importer), not a manufacturer.

I know almost all tires are produced globally anymore. But I've never seen one brand that was Chinese produced (regardless of label) that did well in performance areas like autox or track.

GZ6 is a company, not a tire model. So which tire of theirs, which model of Goodyear, and how worn was the Goodyear you were comparing. You know, like worn out tires really don't compare well to new tires............

The longer any tire lasts, the less grip it was built with. Pretty simple. Hard compound wears longer, has less grip. Soft compound wears faster, has more grip.

Of your old Goodyears, what was the treadwear rating? The new tires?

Don't get me wrong. I'm not particularly a Goodyear fan. I just like to see comparative facts, not 'I feel' on stuff like tires.
