That idea for the light base is awesome! What brand pods are those?

Thanks man! It's just some cheap brand I think it's called Rio-Rand it only cost me 20 bucks so I'm happy with it

My trucks body is in very good condition, and sometimes I get a little scared that's about to change haha... I was looking at some 4x inovations sliders. I liked there price, but are they any good? I do not abuse my truck or constantly off road, but I like to get out and explore, fish, ect. Sometimes, so are sliders even necessary for me? Also how hard is it to weld them

I just ordered some sliders for my truck after banging my rocker panels a few times. No real damage but I want to keep it that way.

I can't weld and I don't know anyone who can. I've heard you can take them to most muffler shops or body shops. However, I'm going to take mine to an offroad shop. I feel like they'll have an idea of what the sliders are in for and will take extra care.

Yeah I'm kinda in the same boat, I can't weld. However my local muffler shopped is owned my a man who has built many rigs so I think he would know what he's doing with sliders hopefully

Nice! Yeah, my sliders are going to take awhile to get. I have plenty of time to figure out where to get them welded.

Got some new tires delivered, then my rims tooimage.jpg
I added some led pods where my turn signals were, and then relocated the signals to the corner lights. Finally got rid of those orange things
    image.jpg
There just mounted using the brackets that came with the lights and some washers using a hole I drilled
    image.jpg
    image.jpg
Got an appointment made to get my Inner tie rod replaced, the new goodies mounted and balanced, and then alligned:D
This is the last I saw of her as I dropped it off
    image.jpg
The next day I brought it home and washed it finally. It actually shined up pretty good image.jpg
I took a few pictures of it in the front yard while I was at it
    image.jpg
    image.jpg

Then I went to work on a switch panel for all my lights I had planned to have soon. I never have seen anyone do this but I gave it a try anyways
    image.jpg
I don't think it turned out too bad, it's pretty easy to flip them off quickly since my arm is already resting on the console usually
    image.jpg
Out of pure boredom I made myself a lighted whip with quick disconnect plugs so it's easily removable to look cool at night and also made a custom mount to hold it or a flag in the bed. In the picture however it's just jammed in the bed to see what it looked like, it's pretty dang bright

Lookin good! What rim and tire size did you end up going with? Also I really dig the LED Whip. I have some extra LED Strips laying around that need used. Ha

Regular cab for the win! Mine is also all manual everything. It's nice when stuff is brutally simple, and has no electrical nonsense to fail on the trail.

Looks good so far man. Any details of the LED pods you put in place of the stock turn signals?

I can imagine a lot of 98-'00 guys wanting to do the same.

Thank you! It was really simple, i used the mounting bracket that came with the lights and just mounted it straight to the plastic of the bumper with some washers. The plastic is really thick and strong there, so I think it will hold just fine

    I know i think it's pretty sweet:cool:
I'm loving your truck! I've been thinking about getting some headlight housings like you have because they look so amazing! Do they change the beam pattern any?

Thanks! I'm still debating on whether or not to get sliders :anonymous: I got a door ding at school that really makes me want them for protection from stuff like that even if they don't get used off-road all the time.
