Just a bunch of old crap
Also check out the wash between Needle Rock and Bartlett Dam Road. 11 miles of some pretty good fast whoops and some deep sand (in parts). You'll get some pinstripes through some of the tight spots, but it opens up in quite a few areas.

Try to go on a week day or off weekend. There can be quite a few bikes and quads. They make for a heart pounding experience when the come out of no where and you are moving at a pretty fast pace.

Is "A" in the photo below about where the US 60 and MM 106 is? I live at the red dot and can get to the backside, entrance "B", in about 10 minutes

Edit: It might also be MM 206 because I know for sure that MM 201 is right about Gold Canyon

thats it, on google maps it looks like a road to a staging area then heads a little southwest and into the desert? Thats were we do alot of our raptor/race testing. Its not my favorite spot but then again for testing you dont need a huge area. there are some offshoot roads from there that can be fun as long as theyre not super washed out

Yep, if you follow the diagonal road it eventually turns straight south and it runs into Ocotillo road. There is a gate where it hits Ocotillo but it isnt always unlocked. Im going to check on my way home from work :)

not a 4 in terms of difficulty, I used it as an example in terms of progression from the trails I listed prior to it .

In reality, Box Canyon is a 2.5, I would probably drop Broken Arrow or Chiva as a 3 and sunflower as a solid 3.5 depending on conditions. Then Desoto or Hackberry as a good 4. Terminator and similar are 5s, they're doable IMHO but you really have to know the truck, have a good spotter and be prepared to probably take a little body damage.

so my list would really go

    1-BullDog
    2-Sycamore/Old Butcher Jones
    2.5- Box Canyon
    3- Broken Arrow or Chiva
    3.5- Sunflower Mine
4 Hackberry Creek or Desoto Mine
    5+ Terminator or similar.

That is more like it. I ran sunflower about a year or two ago in my 89 with open front and rear diffs and some high mileage bridgestone duelers and had no problems at all. Then again trails seem to change season to season.

Its a fun trail, if you can catch it while there is a decent amount of water in the creek it can be pretty challenging. A lot of those rocks in the rock garden get completely covered and move around constantly which makes for a different trip everytime, not to mention the water makes for some interesting traction situations.
