I’m trying to get my tire pressures to read on the dash.

I went to the DATA LIST in Techstream and found all of the TPMS ID’s are listed but they’re all noted as “JUDGING”.

    What does this mean?

Like I said in your other thread, if they were just reset, it can take quite a few miles for them to re-register. Sometimes, it is fast. Just a mile or two. Sometimes, it is 20mi+.

Ya but this hasn’t worked in a very long time. I suspect it hasn’t worked since installing new wheels and that was more than a year ago. I first tried the SET button like instructed in the manual but the dash light did not flash three times like stated in the manual.

I then connected my laptop/Techstream. And actually I left out an important detail in my first post; only ONE TPMS was noted as “JUDGING”. I guessing this was probably the problem. After frogging around with the “ID ENTERING” window now ALL FOUR are noted as “JUDGING”. I just need to figure out the next step in Techstream.

When I toggle thru the “ID Set” windows the IDs are already in the boxes. Could it just be a simple matter of re-entering the same ID numbers?

    And what does JUDGING mean?

    Ah. Good info.

You can certainly try re-entering the sensor IDs. That said, if it wasn't working within a few trips of the tire swap, it is more likely that the tire shop damaged a sensor?

I do not know what Judging means as I have not had any TPMS issues in the past. Just that Resets after rotations can take a varying amount of miles to come back.

It might be worth a trip to the tire shop or breaking the bead on that wheel and seeing what is going on?

Re-enter them, it will fix the issue if they are valid.

I had one on friday that did this. Proper #'s, proper pressures, still has light.

Re-entered the exact same #s and it fixed it.

I would focus on the set procedure more than techstream personally. If you never got the light to flash three times and initiated the learn procedure, techstream isn’t going to help imo

    Good news!

I went ahead and re-entered the IDs and then went through the SET steps with the button on the lower dash and this time it gave me the three flashes. I figured that was a good sign so I went for a quick ride and got my pressure readings back in about two miles!

I guess the old girl had a bug up her butt with that one sensor reading JUDGING for some reason but all is good now!

    Thanks for the help gang.

    You're welcome!

The Judging prompt seems to be what I guessed. The sensors waiting for the TMPS to re-find them all. More info here:
