Long time reader. First time poster.

I have a 2018 TRD PRO that came with dealer installed Procomp tires and wheels. I managed to keep the original TRD PRO wheels and tires. The Procomp tires are nearly worn out and I want to put the original wheels and tires back on. I am hoping the original wheels have the TPMS in them. Will I need to sync the original wheel's TPMS to the truck? If so then how?

    Thanks.

A reputable tire shop should be able to scan the wheels and tell you if there are TPMS sensors installed and if they’re still operating/transmitting signal. Yes, you will need to sync the sensors to the truck, and a reputable tire shop should be able to do that as well for around $25 dollars, unless you have your own TPMS scan tool, etc.

Are the Pro wheels holding air?
I bet the OEM TPMS sensors have silver metal stems. What type of stems are on the Procomp wheels? What about the Pro wheels?
Metal stems sensors can be re-used.
