Nah... I need to cut off the PS shock tower and bump can bracket and move them forward 1", then re-weld. That will leave me with the removal of the DS bump can and replace with a King component.

Yeah, let me know when you want to get the tabs welded on.

Where did you get that offset U bolt flip? I have the same rear setup as you (axle relocation plates and Dakars) and am looking to do a U bolt flip.

Actually, my friend @Ritchie welded the original hole shut, then redrilled one that matched the axle relocation plate's offset. So stoked that my u bolts are straight again. He also welded the shock mount tabs on for me...I just did the wrenching.

Thanks for the info! I'll have to do the same.

I really enjoyed reading your build thread btw. Your truck is rad!

Out with the bro in law to see how much more :sawzall:he needs to do to clear his dirty-fives.

Also have some parts I need to install and finally ordered a rear bumper. Will update the thread as soon as I start throwing parts on the truck again...or after another trail run. Both are becoming a rarity nowadays.

Both of your guys trucks look so clean! How do you like that soft topper? Is it the brand Soft Tooper?

Thanks buddy. It's the photos, my bro in law takes/edits pics well...haha. We do try to keep our trucks in great shape, but we like to get them dirty even more!!!

Yeah, it's the Softopper brand. I've had it since July/August and so far so good. I never thought I'd run a camper shell or softopper but before a long road trip in the truck I found this one for sale locally. Figured it would be good to keep the camping gear out of the sun and out of sight. Worked great for that and keeps most of the water out (I don't have the velcro on the tailgate, so the rear window isn't completely snug). Dust on the other hand gets in a little more. It's easy to fold/remove if needed too.

I'm not sure how much longer I'll need the Softopper for since my wife just got a new suv (which translates to covered cargo). So I might end up selling it soon. Just waiting for the holidays to pass as we're extremely busy visiting family out of town during this time.

If you're looking to sell, keep me in mind, I'm looking to buy one and get rid of my camper shell next spring. I'd cruise down there to pick it up :)

Saw this at the San Diego Auto Show last year and it was exactly what we were looking for:

Going to be putting my previous wheel/tire seup for sale soon:

5 - SCS F5 wheels with 4 duractrac/1 BFG KO (spare) in 285/75-16 mounted on the wheels. As for the condition of the wheels, 1 has the worst curb damage, 3 some curb damage, 1 in great condition (spare that was never used). Tires still have some life left but should be replaced soon.

Also the BFG K02's seen in the pics (around 6-7k miles on them) will be up for sale as well. They are in the 295/75-16 size and have about 6-7k miles on them.

Looking to get $700 for the 5 F5 wheel/tire package and $600 for the KO2's.

If you buy both at the same time I'll sell for $1200. All prices are for pickup in San Diego. Figured I'd get a feeler out here first and once I have time in the next week or so I'll take detailed pics of all the items and will post in the classifieds here as well as CL.

    Thanks and Happy Holidays!!!
