Synthetic oil- what kind to run

    I was going to change my oil this weekend and im switching to synthetic oil . Does anyone have any suggestions on what kind to run. I have a 2008 v6 TRD with 22 k on it .... what kind of oil is everyone else running????

    Royal Purple I hear is the best, but them some say Amsoil is better, I think Mobil1 is also good, as is Castrol Syntec. basically whatever floats your boat, Royal Purple if you like the finest, but i'm sure you'll pay more for it than say Mobil.

    ive run mobil 1 and a k&n filter on my truck since i got it at 61K...I just turned over 125K and i still have no problems.

    Dude, do a search on "synthetic" and you'll get tons of responses. This topic has been beaten to death here and on pretty much every other automotive forum.

    I use Amsoil 10w-30. Here in Orlando, two diiferent mechanics on weekend radio shows swear by it. No problems for me so far. Also, I've used Mobile1 for many years on my wife's car. No complaints, and better yet, no problems there either.
