After installing a 2.5" front/1" rear lift, I drove around a while and the system gave me a malfunction error related to the "Advanced Ultrasonic Detecting and Ranging System". In the description it says its a malfunction in the "Intelligent Clearance Sonar System".

I am not sure if this means the TSS sensor or the parking sensors but my parking sensor still works. All my driver assists are disabled. Anyone have any insights on this?

You need to have the system recalibrated after your lift. If the lift shop was a good one then they should have known it needed it. Your dealer can also do it but I am sure they will hit you with a nice bill.

Thanks, I DIY'd the lift so I will contact the offroad shops around me to see how if they can do it. I am sure the dealership will be much more pricey.

If dealers are like they are with 3rd gens they won't touch calibration with a 10 foot pole after the lift unless they did the lift. Also windshield replacement places will possibly tell you the same. This has just been my experience in the past, hopefully it's changing though.

Going to try to use techstream to reset this.. wish me luck lol. I tried using the OBD2 scanners but none of them can support the newest 4g Tacoma.
