Made a deal with my buddies shop, I do all the prep. All I pay is material + labor for paint. So around 1300.

BTW I had the truck Ceramic Pro 9H Coated at Omega Werks in Pleasanton. Coating is awesome so far, dust blows off. Truck paint stays smooth.... Got the body, windows, and wheels done. Will post videos testing it out soon. But for now:

Looking good man. Is it Vince at Omega Werks? I could've sworn it was called Omega Tint Werks in the past, but regardless, Vince does real good work!

Yup, check out youtube for videos of it.

    Yup Vince at Omega Werks!

haha need to make one still.

nah, just for the mall. haha

On a side note, check your hood latches (the hook on the actual hood) Mine broke almost all the way through, tore the metal. Good thing I got the Quick-Latch pins on now. But could have ended real bad.

Thats how Rinzler got totaled. Hood flew up on a speed pass and a Jeep pulled out in front of the driver at the same time.

I would make sure the rubber stoppers are set right. May have been from the hood shaking a lot and just working it until it broke.

Pic of my busted hood latch:

That XJ had PLENTY of time to get out of the way. To this day i can't understand just watching someone crash into you...

Anyway, Alex, the truck is looking awesome. Time to do another magazine with all the updates!

was a deal I did with my friends shop, I had to do all the prep/disassembly/reassemble so I only paid for materials and to have them actually paint it.
