T-2 Weeks

Hi All,

I've had the Tacoma on my radar for a couple of years now. Today was the day to buy my next vehicle and I bought an SR5 with double cab and 6 foot bed. Not easy to find. I should have it by the end of July. I'm looking forward to having my skis in the back, instead of on the roof this winter. I need the long bed for my alpine and nordic skis.

Any suggestions on the best way to secure skies in the bed would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! I think I would find a mount to use the side rail or use a crossbar of some sort.

Jet Skis?

 

No, just alpine and nordic skies. I mostly do day trips near home, so ski rack is fine, but when I travel or do an overnight, I want to be able to lock up in the bed of the hotel doesn't have a ski closet.

The roof box on my Mazda had been great, so now I'm have a hard toneau cover on the truck.
