I think it’s cast iron. I’ll ask tomorrow. Your going to have to grind a little on the steering stops on the new knuckle to achieve full steering using Total Chaos arms. Not a big deal about 1/4 inch.

The new knuckle is made from ductile iron. The knuckle is designed to bend and take allot of abuse. It will not crack , brake or shatter. And welding the double sheer brace for the steering Heim will be a breeze. As you can weld straight to with no problems.

Well...I am interested in how this will turn out. I don't plan on lifting that high in the near future but I love seeing innovative ideas!!

Picked up the shocks from King designed for this mod. Just waiting for the front crossmember to finish up. Then I’ll start the 3 link rear suspension.E90998AF-0C2F-488E-A14E-2CE311D69FE7.jpg

I guess will find out soon. If it does TW will be the first to know. I’m hard on all my parts. The only thing I’ve broke so far is a Solo Tundra Rack n Pinion and they repaired it under warranty even after I put 20,000 miles on it....and broke it at the Rubicon . I’ll be ready to go head to head with someone that has an RCLT Kit. And all I see from Marlin is coming soon. As they are outsourcing there kit. Fabtech is all made in house at there factory in Chino Hills Ca. Total Chaos all parts made in house. King Shocks all made at there factory in Garden Grove Ca, As soon as you outsource you have lost control of your manufacturing. And good luck controlling your manufacturing price. Who ever builds there parts will have them by the balls. The only thing I’ve seen come out of Marlin is broken promises. As they seem to be pricing themselves right out of the market.

Triple bypass shocks hit the frame had to clearance the frame with sledgehammer. The coil overs hit the driveshaft had to clearance them as well. When we measured for shocks the drivelines were not in. Seems like every part on this build needs to be massaged to fit. Good thing I have a machine shop or I would be so screwed. I’m almost done with the front.... got the serpentine belt on and the 1450 psi steering pump is in all I need to do now is bleed the rack and pinion 0AF0A1E3-95D9-4A26-954A-DDD222D13BA8.jpg86C86BCC-F184-4D7B-BC39-7523C7C77F5B.jpg

I did something similar a few weeks ago for a friend. It took a few years for the manufacturers to start producing 6" lift shocks with drop bracket. Finally accutuned had an awesome solution so here we have some fox 2.5 on a pro comp drop bracket lift. Ultra comfortable!

    A lot of stuff
I’m here. So my last truck had the Fabtec drop bracket lift and I smashed the shit out it and I do kinda miss the extra clearance it has. The new truck has pro comp DB lift, dirt king +3.5. I would love to meet up and compare.

I’m so glad I’m doing all the work this time. When Dosilate built the truck they never fixed the camber. Driver side is neutral the passenger side is - camber. Good thing I have adjustable Heims on the top A arms. Passenger side no threads showing and driver has 4 threads showing. The alignment shop never said anything I figured I paid good money to have the long travel kit installed so I figured it was always correct now I know different. Also when I centered the rack and Pinion I found out the steering wheel is not straight this is why the truck will not do a U-turn and makes great right turns. As docilate never centered the rack and pinion to center of the steering wheel. This LT bracket lift has been a bear to say the least having the Solo Tundra Rack n Pinion just makes it harder and I own a machine shop! King took 3 weeks to build the shocks and the spring retainer hit the drivelines and needed to be machined to clear the shafts. The frame hit the Triple Bypass and that had to be addressed. The tie rods were to long and I had to cut them and retap them. The stock Bumpstops were to short and the Fabtech bumps were junk and didn’t work earthier. The Wilwood brake mounts didn’t bolt up to the new knuckle so they had to be machined to fit. I put the wheels on and the rim hits the tie rods. Fuck me. So today I machined a 1/16 hubcentrick spacer. Now that problem is cured. I have pulled this kit off the truck and put it back on at least 5 times. Good thing I have 5 other vehicles I can drive. I should be finished this weekend and ready to start the 3 link rear. So ya thats my Dennis Miller Rant lol

Great work!! Though I will likely never go this far, I love seeing people innovate and think outside the box!!

Just curious, what front bumper is that? I like how it integrates the skid plate as a removable item.
