Pulled the trigger on a ARB 78" awning. This thing is awesome and failry easy to set up in calm weather by yourself. Used a set of Thule load bars bolted to my bed rack to mount it. Straight forward mounting you just need a vertical surface and 6 holes. Allot of shave in a small package. Very good quality.

How it is mounted using "L" brackets and the Thule bars

Got a question I use to have the same truck but in white and it got totaled. The question is would it be cheaper and better to get an sr5 and build it or just get the same thing? It didn't make since to me buying a trd and then taking out all the springs that you payed for.

I thought the same way, but if you get an OR package you get the E-locker, A-Trac, DAC and other options that are maybe not so easy to add. Depending on what direction you want to go with your truck you will have to replace or modify some of it.
