Your really arrogant and full of yourself to say that I and a lot of other people on the forum are delusional, and that we don't know what were talking about when we say that were happy with our trucks and like them.

I love mine. It's a great truck and I've had the shifting issue in CC on hills - resolved by TSB.

You would think the truck was made by Leland Motors by the way some people react.

I suspect there would be a strong coorelation between people's driving habits/behavior and how satisfied they are with their truck.

I love the truck, the interior is awesome in the Limited, but the constant upshift downshift on my highway drive pisses me off. Even after the Ver 1 TSB

Still loving my truck. The more I drive it the more I like it. All issues resolved with both tsb's. Some people just can't seem to let go. If yours sucks then please get rid of it. Worst case just trade it down to something else. There is no law that says you can't sell it.

I was really frustrated with mine at first but did have the tsb done. The combination of this and using the ect pwr button has made how the truck drives totally different. The delay from reverse to drive is gone and the erratic shifting is calmed way down, especially using the ect pwr button. Pretty damn happy with the truck again.

34"s and only first TSB and no issues. I take it in for the 5K tomorrow and don't know if I should get Rev 1 done or not.

Finally got some extended driving in after Rev 1 and it's much improved. Only issue I had before was cc shifting and getting hung up in 4th or 5th. Now it still down shifts on an incline but doesn't seem to got to 4th unless it's pretty steep and as you crest the hill it up shifts back to 6th fine. Makes sense knowing about the two overdrive gears and the weight of the truck. Needs 4th sometimes to maintain speed up hills. I'm ok with that. Got 20.6mpg with 200 miles of interstate driving at 73mph @ 50 degrees on winter gas. No bad.

So after the tsb update my truck rn worst than b4. Finally drove on the freeway yeatersay and it's now having new problems. It would not up shift to 6th gear unless I let off the gas. Once it goes into 6 if I accelerate it would down shift back to 5th (wich is normal) but would not upshift back to 6th unless I let off the gas.

On our way back from mini vacation I decided to let my wife drive home. It was late and I was alseep. She woke me up panicking.. she told me that she was on cruise control at 70mph and all of sudden the car did a hard down shift and the truck declarate.. she tried stepping on the has pedal to accelerate but rpm went fly high... it did that for 5-10 sec b4 I was awake. Wired shit and too bad I wasn't up seeing what actually happened.

I'm awful suspicious of those of you still having issues after both TSB's to if your dealership really did the revision on your trucks. Odd that some of us all the problems have went away and others are still the same. FWIW, I'd put my money on your dealership (or stealership) didn't do it.

That's exactly what I've been thinking for quite awhile now, which is either the dealers are not performing either of the T-SB's and saying that they have or people are lying about it for what ever reasons. I see all of the endless threads about problems after problems members are having, and I'm personally having a very hard time believing a lot of them, and some of them could be called Fake News.

If I had both the 1st and 2nd T-SB's performed and the trans not only didn't improve but got worse, and after ready about all the people here on the forum that the T-SB’s fixed their trans problems, I would be on the phone with Toyota Corp ASAP. Calling Toyota Corp and starting a case number is the first thing everyone that’s having trans problems should do, and that what I did and I got no crap from Toyota Corp or my dealer about any of it.

So after hearing all of the same stories of people not only not seeing any improvement in the trans shifting after having both of the T-SB's performed, I feel lucky that the dealer I bought mine from has treated me great and performed both T-SB's without any BS.

Mine still has issues and I've had both TSBs. I know because I have Tech Stream and verified the cal files at home.
So it is possible that the dealerships are updating the software and folks still have issues.

I was actually allowed to watch the first and second tsb being applied to my truck and a difference was noticed to begin with on the overall performance however, its the other things I continue to experience like engine surging at idle (not from power steering or A/C) and harsh downshifts into first gear like many reported when slowing banging the u joints. I opened a case with Toyota Corp and after their so called investigation, I was advised "nothing more mechanically could be done at this time since both TSB's applied. There also would be no assistance to trade into another Toyota model or I'm on my own. Their records show I previously owned Gen 2 Tacoma's and Toyota has determined previous owners may need to provide more patience with the performance of the 2016-17s and to give the adjustment more consideration for what the truck is(lol), I was speechless! They also advised me it was a recorded call.

I regularly get 28+ mpg at 73mph, I've seen 32mpg. Not sure how people are getting such low mpg. Even towing a 400lb trailer with a dirt bike on for 60 miles I get 24mpg.

Well for starters, you are probably 4x2, and drive mostly flat highway. The digital readout on mpg can be off by as much as 10%. Try calculating it by hand and see if the results are the same.
