I'm a Toyota truck enthusiast. Not some rich collector. Not a dealer looking for flips. I have a pregnant wife, a german shepherd, and a love for camping and Japanese trucks. I've had a 96 4runner, a 99 Tacoma, a 98 LC, a 2015 Tacoma (stolen) and replaced with my current 11' Tacoma.
A week ago I found MY DREAM TRUCK- a 98' sr5 t100 xtracab 4wd in Seattle. Warm White on blue with a bench seat. After telling me they were going to let me buy a flight up and complete the sale, they sold it out from under me. I don't blame them (they sold it an elderly local guy), but it absolutely broke my heart. Now i'm more determined than ever to find the t100 I've always wanted.
Must be 4x4, can't be black. White on a tan bench with an auto is ideal, buckets and a stick works too. If you know someone with a clean one. Let me know. Will pay a good but fair price for the right t100. Any leads appreciated. T100_SEATTLE1.jpg t1002.jpg

I was up in Tahoe a few weeks ago and looked at the exact truck you are looking for. He wanted $6500 for it with 160k on it I believe. A look underneath there was rust on the frame. Not really sure the extent of the rust but I know this is a issue with these years.

Yeah.. and a little surface rust is no big deal for the right price. Any chance that things still around? I wouldn't mind taking a look if so?

Might be heading up this weekend. Had a picture but I deleted it. It was a 2000 I believe. Maybe search Craigslist Reno/Tahoe.
