    My truck is my DD. I ended up with the aluminum t3 bumper. The weight savings is about 52 pounds I believe over steel. I did not have to adjust my suspension at all and the driving characteristics did not change at all. I do notice a TINY bit of extra dive on harder braking, that only I, the driver, would notice. I think my MPGs dropped maybe .4 mpg but it looks like mainly due to more wind resistance with the tires being almost full exposed.

    I'd go for the full plate bumper if you can afford it. I don't see a real benefit of getting the slim bumpers aside a little less weight, which is negated if you buy aluminum.

    U can’t really go wrong with either. Just preference on side protection or not.

    Your situation sounds similar to mine. The C-4 is solid.
    (despite what you choose, when you install message me - one small detail (hint) after cutting the bumper)

    ...btw I average 16-20 mpg commuting 19 miles each way through traffic
