Rinzler has seen a lot of miles off road and taken quite the beating in the process so in reality I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. I'm sure my bumpstop plates were already flattened to the frame before Moab, and I have only myself to blame for pushing my truck past it's limits. It wasn't until I hucked my truck in the dunes a couple times that it finally bottomed out hard enough to bend the frame. The top of my bed is about 3 inches away from the cab while the bottom is tucked up nice and close. This was the first clue as I was driving around the next day, I could visibly tell the bed was angled down from the cab. Here's a view from underneath.

Pending plasma cutter :spy: @JeepAndrew Ill also be saving for ADS Hydros hopefully get em soon, then all the LT later on this year/early next year. Gunna plate the shit out if the frame after its cut, readjusted and flattened out. Still gathering ideas tho. Really would rather not build a whole new frame

Some body shops have them and you may have to come up here to find it. It will never be as straight as factory but at least you can stop it from getting worse.

It that or find a newer pre runner and swap out your stuff.

Ocherp is selling his truck

oh gotcha, yea this is why I agree with @JeepAndrew cutting the frame leaving just the top intact, then lifting from the back end and getting it level again seems more promising. lots of work but knowing it will be plated is a good feeling. I'm not even considering swapping trucks but Ocherps truck is nice! Rinzler wont go down without a fight

The way you drive that thing you should had gotten hydros a long time ago man. It would had avoided this current heartache you are having as you speak. Those superbumps can't handle that type of running you are doing on your truck for sure and it's very evident now. It costs more initially, but the hydros will save your frame in the end.

Damn, sorry to hear bro. I've been following your build since I first found out about TW and Rinzler is one of the main inspirations for my build. Hope this gets sorted out for you or at the very least it will provide you an opportunity to build it stronger and go HAM!

That isn't all that bad, you would be much worse off if it bent right where the cab/bed meet like Raptors. When you long travel and properly bed cage the rear none of that will matter anyway. We all knew you needed LT anyways ;)

DB or not; if you spend a good amount of time off road you're better off with some aftermarket LCAs. The benefits are not just in strength but serviceability of the UBs and bushings.
