The Goodyear Adventure All-Terrain(w/kevlar) that came on the TRD-OR/TRD-PRO are GREAT tires. They are absolutely great, and it is unlikely that anything you replace them with at the standard load (c-load) for the Tacoma will be significantly better. I could understan "needing" new tires if you were going to see A LOT of rock crawling or DEEP mud, but but outside of those two terrains, the Goodyear adventures will be hard to justify replacing for only a marginal (if even that) improvement at a few off-road environments.

Thread after thread, I see people replace those tires and I cant figure out why? They are actually excellent tires. and my only guess is they solely do it as part of their lemming-builds or "because of looks hurrrr". And neither of those make sense to me.

Dude have you read all the threads about flats with the factory tire. P rated tires have very thin sidewalks and thread and are more prone to puncture.

Factory tires are only for MPG numbers.

they work, and they're studdable, too. i, for one, love how they drive on the road in terms of noise and comfort.

by the way, where did you get your wheelcaps? i have the same wheels but just the black caps... lemme know if you don't mind.

Looks/aesthetics and general subjective reasonings are 100% legitimate. You'd be lying if you've never done or liked anything purely aesthetic based or thought it was cool

I did too, first time in 4 inch deep saturated food plot. 99 Tacoma with Duratracs can handle it. I am now scared I will get stuck.

As far as road noise is concerned, I've notice no real difference between stock and my current KO2's, I have 2017 OR that had the gy Kevlar wranglers

Any of you TRD OR guys seen your slip indicator "flashing" when in MTS AND lots of ABS intervention? Mine does just like when in Auto LSD if I select setting 4 or 5 (not much slip allowed) and driving in mud. I think the flashing is caused by TRAC system intervention

Do the duratrac's come in oem size that's on the OR. I run toyo MT like them but they are 10 ply e rated and are a heavy tire. I think they weigh 58 lbs per tire.

Do the current Duratracs have tough sidewalls? I had some on 99 Tco but bought tires in 2009. Wondering if design improved? Traction in mud and snow was great
