    Hey yall,
My name is Chris and back in May of this year, I bought myself a 2004 Toyota Tacoma Trd extra-cab(5 speed). I hope to transform my taco into a beast. I purchased the truck with 194,000 miles on it with its original clutch (Frame replaced at 105,000 miles by Toyota due too recall). Just last week I replaced the Clutch at 204,000 miles hoping that my clutch problem will be solved for the duration of my trucks life. I was also driving around for a couple of months with my check engine light on, due too an admission system problem from a crack in my exhaust pipe. After being a lazy bum I finally got around to fixing the exhaust by welding a 2 1/2 Flex id pipe onto the exhaust between the 2 Cadillac converters. This is a temporary fix until I find the funds to get myself a nice exhaust system to fix my problems for the long term. I also put on new tires (Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure With Kevlar- Size: 265/70R16) with my stock rims(Garbage Rims).

My next move is to fix my 4wd system, the system won't even initiate at the moment and the 4wd light won't even turn on when you put it in 4wd L4 or H4. After fixing the 4wd problem I will look into replacing my shocks and springs, once I accomplish that I will try and put a 2.5 inch Rough Country suspension lift on the truck. After putting the lift on I will look into getting bigger tires probably 32s or 33s and some nice black trd rims. I definitely have a lot of work ahead of me.

Update: My Father and I removed the transfer shift actuator on the rear of the transfer case, it was seized with rust, cleaned it up the best I could and put it back on. Now when I press the 4wd button I hear the whirl of the system kicking in under my seat. Yet I still have no four wheel drive light on my dash. The only time I get a light on my dash is when I pull the plug off my rear actuator then the 4wd light flashes. I have my truck up on jacks and I'm in the process of removing my front add actuator. When I pull the plug on the add actuator on the front of the truck my 4wd light does not even show up on the dash. I was unable to get the front drive shaft to engage and lock up, so I figure that is my problem. One thing I do know is that my rear diff works, I hit the differential button, Then i hear it locking. When the trucks up on jacks I spin the rear tires and they both turn. Any advice yall can give me would be much appreciated.
I'll post pictures once I get the 4wd fixed.
