    Does anyone else's tachometer and speedometer bounce when slowing down?

    Thanks but I took it to the dealership already and they said they compared it to anther truck and saw the same thing. I think their full of sh*t haha

    I believe this is the "Ticking Needle" which is a fairly common issue. Try to get it on video if you can because that's probably the only chance you have of being able to get the Service Manager to "witness it" or "replicate" the issue.

    Without being able to replicate they often will not address the problem.

    If they do agree to fix it, the replacement Odometer has to be ordered and for most of us they hold our truck while they order the part, due to legality issues with programming the odometer correctly (it must be programmed with current mileage and then sent to the dealer) so they should put you in a loaner or rental for a week or so while this happens.

    Just another Turd Gen pain in the ass I've had to deal with.

    Then your problem is not the same or you just coincidentally have not seen it happen again, yet. Mine was sporadic for awhile. I would go months without seeing it then it would start up again.

    my tachometer "ticked" with the "89" CKP sensor, does not do it with the "98" (new version)

    Combination meter in the gauge cluster. Mine did the same from day one. Replaced under warranty and no issue since.
