Tacky chrome trim fix?

    You could color match it - makes it look less obtrusive. 3rd gen grill is too big, IMO. Cheap and easy to do.

    I think real chrome on classic old trucks looks cool but the chrome plastic just looks super tacky and cheap to me

    masked everything off. took off the Toyota emblem on the grill.

    Dont think they make masks for bearded fellas. headlight because why not.

    Did this about a month ago, zero issues. Used up 1 whole can of black, and half a can of clear gloss to get rid of the matte.

    Looking good! Did you remove the plastic step parts on the top, or just mask them off? I'm worried about breaking them by trying to remove.
