And lastly, I did a backseat delete which made it more comfy for my dog, and gave me some better choices of storing whatever I need to store.

Had some time yesterday so I asked my buddy if we could use his shop. I noticed my tire carrier was kinda weak, so he fab’d up some new mounts and gave it extra support. I was also able to finally mount my hi-lift jack! It fits so perfect on the side of the bed rack!

Went out and got some pics of the truck today. The DoD travel ban sucks!

Be honest, how do you like the rooftop tent over a normal tent? I've got friends who love and friends who think it was a waste of money since you're paying 2k just to sleep in a tent on top of your car instead of the ground. haha

To be honest, eh. Haha it’s more of a convenience. Pros: set up time - 1 minute. Saves you bed space, gets you off the ground away from wildlife, Looks cool, you can literally set it up at a gas station if you needed to stay over night.

Cons: affect gas mileage, you have to pack up camp to hit trails (not a big deal for me cause I can leave everything and just close the tent in about 1 minute), limited to space without spending $$$$.

it’s definitely a personal preference. I got mine for a damn good deal, $900 when it is originally $1600.

yeah the "eh" part is what most seem to say haha. I've been sleeping in my topper (6 foot bed though) for years but am gonna go slide in camper now. Gonna be interesting to see how rough of roads I can get away with in that thing haha

I would sleep in a topper but I’ve got a 5’ bed and a wife and dog so that wasn’t really the best option. I guess it all comes down to preference.

Yeah I'm 6 foot tall so I always have to kind of cram my feet onto the wife's side of the bed, one reason we're getting a camper haha. If we don't like the camper I'll probably just try to find an old flippac or wildernest topper
