The bars are tied to the frame at the wheel well with a bolt on bracket. Very solid. Note that the swingout arm is not welded on, it looks funny because its just resting there.

 

Looks awesome, still need to find some time to go visit the shop.

Its comming along faster than I thought it was going to... happy that im getting up to date pics and awsome communication via email with Jason. Very swell guy and understands his customers very well... cant wait to put this on my trucks ass and wear it proudly... and bash the hell outa it on the trails lol

 

Its nearly done. Built most of the swingout today. The criteria for the can carrier was to hold 2 Scepter Military cans, have them lockable, and have it so the caps can't be screwed off. There's some more work to be done to the aluminum holder, but you get the idea. The Hi Lift fits nicely behind the tire and can carrier, there's a CB antenna mount in there, and the factory backup camera will be mounted to the under side of the can carrier. The tire holder is adjustable for wheels of different offset, and this arm will easily accommodate 35"s or bigger. There's also going to be a gas strut to assist with opening and closing the swingout

Will the bumper be available with out the swing out??

 

Yeah, absolutely. It can be had with no swingout, one small one, one big one, or two small ones, whatever suits your needs.

Same goes for the tube work over the lower box side. That's an added extra as well.

 

Bring on the PC! Cannot wait!

 

It's getting sand blasted today or tomorrow, then off for powder coat on Monday. More pics to come!
