Taco armor in Canada

Updates???

 

Got it back from Powder Coat on Friday, and got a few shots. The Hi-Lift points are in, and most assembly is done except mounting the backup camera and bottle opener.

 

I'm digging the Scepter can set up .

I would like something like that to mount in my bed

 

I'm assuming you mean the bed of your truck?

I'd just need to figure out a way to mount it, but that would work pretty slick!

If it could sit on the bottom but fix to the bed rail at the front of the bed that would be sweet

 

I'll measure up my buddy's taco and see how that would work. I'll get back here with the results early next week.

Maybe the connectors could allow some vertical adjustment , I have the OEM bed mat

 

How much does that add to the bed hight 1/2"-3/4"?

Checked out the fit last night. I would mount it with some spacers which would bring it away from the mounting rail enough that the can retention straps would still work, and make the mounts slotted so it would fit regardless of bed mat. Also this way it could be mounted to the front wall of the bed, or to the sides.

Would You classify your rear bumper as "high clearance" in other words does it offer more clearance then the stock one?

 

I would say so.... Its not like ato where you cut the 1/4, but this integrates hitch and bumper akong with angles....
