If you open your glovebox and pull out the tray there is a panel in the back that you can remove and pull out the cabin filter and inspect it from the top. No tools required.

Wonder if the previous gen is same dimensions. If so, that opens them up on finding one. Obviously they should've taken that into consideration, so proba my not the same.

This thread is completely relevant to me.

My blower just changed pitch pulling into my driveway tonight. I'll have to inspect it tomorrow as I'm due for my 10,000 mile service. I need them to do the HVAC knobs anyways, so we shall see. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who has had issues. My '13 was quiet as a mouse up to almost 40,000 miles.

Tried and the electrical connector fits, but the bolt holes are about half an inch off all the way around.

If you can remove the wheel , find a motor shop or refrigeration supplier and match up the blower wheel . They should have one that is close in diameter . Combustion blower motors are similar in size or small refrigeration units .

Anyone care to take a pic of the screws, or know of a replacement size? While waiting on finding a new blower, an over zealous cleaning lady threw out my bag o parts. GRR.

Found some almost compatible bolts at home depot. I used some socket cap bolts in 6-32 x 3/4"
Made it fit with a washer.
Now to gripe. How can Toyota operate with such low or non existent inventory anywhere to even cover warranty claims?
