Well, that's fine. I just disagreed with this.

The only thing that's happened on this forum in regards to LED headlights, is 3 companies sold them and they all were piles of shit lasting 4-6 months, the warranty was no problem for the first set (in one case, several sets), then the seller wanted to charge a small fee for replacements since they were losing money at that point, and then a month later the company no longer responded to customers with problems.

Nobody has a good quality LED bulb out, and more to the point, there's nobody making an LED bulb work well in a halogen housing. They're only slightly less shitty than drop in HID kits.

$100 LEDs are $30 from the manufacturer.

So.. bear in mind when it comes to the headlight bulbs, you're not getting $100 worth of quality construction and electronics.

You're getting less than $30 worth.

I'll take lots of pics. Plan on doing a straight comparison.

Parked truck, different bulbs. Everybody else seems to take a pic of halogen bulb output as a comparison, then installs other bulbs and moves the truck to a different area for comparison pics.

I don't understand what the fuck for.

But.. don't expect greatness. My kit is a tester and not for sale yet, but was supposed to retail for $85.

The manufacturer sells them for under $30, minus freight direct from China.

Also I've already seen my actual LEDs installed in a stock housing and seen pics of the output and scatter.. so that's how I know what the result will be without having installed them yet.

More for sake of review. They were available (free testers given away because they sucked) and I took.

I don't plan on running them longer than my review period.

    Cuz effort biotch
    Lol yes.
Haha hell yeah. Looks like this place is active again.
Mine are still out... at least I think its them. Still haven't tested anything.
So I've not been interested in LED headlights at all until these came out....

    https://www.theretrofitsource.com/led-lighting/led-bulbs/d2h-d2s-morimoto-2stroke.html

BUT! I still would never run a LED not in a projector. I don't understand if that's the idea here with these... but I'm assuming you can throw them in a Mini D2.... That's why I linked the D2 version. Thoughts @Boogyman ?
Mine never flickered. But I am going to try and see if I can upgrade to something like this https://www.theretrofitsource.com/components/ballasts/d2s-matsushita-gen-v-35w.html
