Yah that's an old pic and not even close to all of them. These are the ones I'm still waiting on to come back in stock IMG_0710.jpgIMG_0712.jpg IMG_0714.jpgIMG_0715.jpg IMG_0717.jpgIMG_0716.jpg

 Hey guys. Wanted to throw out my previous wheel selection as I amgoing forward with my rig b/c Wheels are weighing in at 35lbs each eeekkk. (Wanted methods but was short funds at the time of selection)Anyway now want SCS :yay:. Will the swing from 35 to let's say ray 10 at 24lb be noticable Offroad/on road etc? Or should I just save up for regear at this point and save the $750?

Searched for write ups on wheel weight and impact on feeling, control, crawling, overland etc but couldn't find much so I'm coming to y'all for some feedback...

Will you notice it? Maybe. But not all that likely.

I'm a big proponent of save all the weight you can afford to on each corner.

I just went from steelies and LT245/75r16E Hankook Dynapro ATMs to FN Wheels Konig Six Shooters in 17x8 with Cooper ST Maxx in LT265/70r17 E

The steelie set up was 81lbs per corner. Each steel wheel was 29.5lbs. So the rest of that was tire. 50ish pounds.

The new setup is a 21.5lbs wheel with a heavier tire. Came in at 80lbs.

Now you may think, "bigger tires and he still saved a pound per corner?!" Yup, but it doesn't do quite exactly what you'd expect.

Because i went wider, i gave myself more rolling resistance. Because i went lighter on wheel, i moved the weight out farther from the hub.

In doing this, my truck doesn't feel any slower after i get it moving. But it definitely leaves slower from a stop. It used to just haze the rear tires on a launch, now it just kind if bogs and barks the rear tires.

So in closing, yes i feel that saving any rolling weight you can is a fantastic idea. Will it yield extremely noticeable results? Maybe a little bit, but probably not.

Better to ask what I have not done.
So i needs opinions, i have some amber led light stip laying around and was thinking about wrapping it around the backside of the satoshi grille to do a "raptor" backlight of sorts to show off the TOYOTA on the grille at night. What do you think?
